🐐 Meet the Animals of Rustic Forrest Farm & Sanctuary
Healing hearts. Holding space. Growing joy — one hoof, paw, or purr at a time.
🐐 Jasper
The Gentle Leader
Jasper is the founding goats of Rustic Forrest and a true elder of the tribe. With his calm demeanor and soulful eyes, Jasper brings grounded energy to every goat yoga session and nature walk. He prefers mindful walks, head scratches, and nuzzling quietly by your side. Jasper is the kind of goat that makes you feel like everything’s going to be okay. You’ll know it when you meet him.
🌞 Urijah
Born underweight on October 14, 2024, Urijah has faced physical challenges since day one — and met every one with sunshine and sass. He loves molasses treats, sunbathing, naps in strange places, and playing with his brother Malacki. Urijah is a living example that soft strength is still strength. Come meet him for a hug (he gives the best ones).
🐴 Amish
Amish is a 12–15-year-old Palomino Quarter Horse who came to us after years of hard labor, injury, and neglect. Despite his past, he’s gentle and kind. We’re currently treating his skin cancer holistically, and every day he reminds us what true resilience looks like. His presence is grounding, majestic, and deeply healing.
🐐 Isiah
Isiah the Miracle Goat. Born healthy but with a hidden medical condition, he endured multiple complex surgeries — including one that most goats wouldn’t survive — and came out strong. He now lives his life thriving, playing, and reminding everyone that hope and tenacity go a long way. His scar is barely visible, but his story leaves a mark.
🐐 Derby
The mother everyone wishes they had. Derby watches her kids like a hawk and never left her own mama's side. When one of her babies couldn’t nurse, she let us help, watching us every second. She’s soft-hearted, wise, and fiercely nurturing. You’ll fall in love instantly.
🐐 The Goat (yes, that Goat)
We’re still not sure if The Goat was real. He arrived unannounced, terrorized the flowers, peed on porches, tried to brawl with Jasper, and vanished as mysteriously as he came. A chaotic legend. A storm wrapped in hooves. Possibly an urban myth.
🐈⬛ Binx
Rescued after Eastern Kentucky floods, Binx is a plush Russian Blue with a signature "Oh well" meow and a sharp opinion about strangers. He’s loyal, snuggly (on his terms), and loves sleeping with Teddy. Feather toys? Yes. Fast friendships? No thanks. Approach with patience.
🐈 Teddy (Teddy Bear)
At 23, Teddy is our wise, old king. He insists on the freshest water and burrows under blankets like a professional napper. Living with a heart murmur and acid reflux, he’s on daily meds — and still the coziest cuddle buddy you’ll ever meet.
🐈 Felix & Jinx
Twin siblings born from a tornado survivor. Felix is the curious acrobat and mischief-maker; Jinx is the gentle caretaker, especially with our elder cats. Whether they’re comforting Macadamia in her wheelchair or sprawled out for belly rubs, these two are pure love.
🐈 Theo Casey
Rescued from a tree fall in Shawnee Park, Theo was weak and overlooked. Now? He’s thriving and obsessed with us (and vice versa). This biscuit-making, head-bumping, heart-healing boy makes everyone feel seen. We’re honored to be his humans.
🐈 Lily
Lily was once a breeder cat who suffered a painful hip fracture. Despite her past, she stepped into the role of caretaker for a group of orphaned kittens. Her limp is a badge of bravery. Her purrs are deep magic. On cold days, we snuggle her extra.
🐐 Malaki
The Baby of the Bunch (and he knows it)
With a heart full of curiosity and a face that melts everyone, Malaki is the playful spirit of Rustic Forrest. Born with his brother Urijah, Malaki is mischievous, snuggly, and surprisingly good at photobombing. He’s learning the ropes from the older goats but definitely brings his own flair — part sass, part sweetness, all healing magic. Expect surprise kisses and a few giggles if you’re on the mat during goat yoga.
